wood green changeof plan
23 jan we went to wood green shopping centre however we found out on the day when we got there that sabrine our make characters girlfriend couldn't make it to film that day. therefor we had to use a different person to film, as serine was already in it and mya was filming I had to step in and play the character.
George came up with an alternative idea for our story line, that at the end of the day that the male could have a wife (serine) and all the different female characters you see him with are women that he is cheating on her with. and then at the end rather than serine asking the girl to be with her he will ask serine to marry him, and we might break the fourth wall at the end as he says 'because your mine' and get serine to look into the camera.

filming in grammar
on the 17th of December we went into grammar to film our performance scenes. As the genre of our music video is jazz we chose to use the schools hall and stage as it looks very old and could be edited and arranged to look like a jazz themed stage.
as serine is our main character she is our performer singing ' I put a spell on you' we dressed her up in a long black dress with a fur shawl out red lipstick and slicked her hair back into a tight bun.
we incorporated lip sync in these scenes as it was not used in any other scenes.
we had a red curtain and a spot light as this is something we had seen in other jazz performance music videos.

filming second scene
the next scene involved Sabrine and George this shot included a Jacuzzi to show the audience how intimate the characters were at this point in their relationship, during this scene serine the stalker character was hiding in the back ground we used an over the shoulder shot to allow the audience to look through her eyes and see what she sees.
complications
as a result of filming at night time some of the shots that were angled through glass contained glare and reflections of our cinematographer mya.

fiulming our first scene
On the 12 December 2017 our group arranged to meet at my house, we planed to film some of the scenes for our music video. the first scene we filmed included a motorbike, we ran into some complications as we were unable to shut the road off cars kept driving through the camera and we had to rea shoot a couple of times, we also had parked cars coming and going meaning the continuity would be bad. During this scene we also had to do a lot of swap overs as serine was the main character and the scene involved her riding round the corner to see her desired lover with someone else, this scene shows the audience that serine has a deep desire to monitor the couple whilst also leaving it ambiguous as to who she has a desire to who exactly she is focussing on. as serine is unable to ride a motorbike, I had to ride the bike with all of the protective gear on and then when we filmed serine, we had to swap clothes and shoes so that we looked like the same person.

simulacra and simulation
Baudrillard came up with the theories of Simulacra, Simulation and Hyperreality. Simulacra is when a sign loses its relation to reality and turns into a simulation of reality. Hyperreality is the outcome of living in a Simulacra, this is when something is "more real than real". A key example that Baudrillard identified was Disneyland as the "fake nature" satisfies our imagination in a real life form.

Hypodermic Needle Theory
This theory is the idea that the media shoot "bullets" straight into its audience. It implies that the media has a direct and powerful effect on its audience. People are seen as "passive" as they accept what the media is telling them as full truth and therefore react in the desired way of the media.
